Historical data includes companies that were later removed from the index, acquired, or went bankrupt. Data comes from third parties, including EOD Historical Data and Bloomberg. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it is complete or error-free.
Benchmarks such as the S&P 500 are shown for comparison and are usually represented by funds such as SPY. You cannot invest directly in an index, and a model can behave very differently from its benchmark.
